About Us - Sonivius Vappae

Sonivius Vappae is the band of the noisy good-for-nothing people arised from the mud of the medieval ages, sentenced to eternal wandering – and torturing those who get in their way with an infernal soundstorm. Paying their penalty the same way they punish those who are condemned to a similar kind of darnation.

Similarly to a few other bands they originate from the band Hollóének Hungarica.

Their instruments of torture: medieval bagpipes, medieval shawms, recorders, cittern, vocals, drums: tapan, djembe (at times hurdy-gurdy and lute)
